I am thinking of buying a tripod to take some night time pictures. Will any tripod fit my camera or do i need a special one.

Hi Rosemary,
All tripods have the same fittings so your choice is pretty much endless. Remember you have to carry it so the lighter it is the easier it will be to take with you. It also depends on the weight/size of your camera. I would go into a camera store with your camera and ask for some advice, you will also be able to try a few for size!
